Jr. Grads Major Peewee A Helps Our Community!!!

The Cumberland Jr Grads Major Peewee A team volunteered two hours of their time and some of their fundraising dollars to the Ottawa Mission on Saturday January 9th, 2010.

The players made sandwiches, filled butter cups and helped clean while the parents chopped vegetables and made burgers. The team also brought donations of toiletries and warm blankets to help in the cold winter months. The Ottawa Mission also gave a presentation to the team as to the various functions they have at the Mission. It was a rewarding and educational adventure.
