Selection Process
Coach and Player Selection Framework
The “Jr. Grads” Coach and Player Selection Framework (CPSF) is designed to promote excellence and inspire and develop all hockey players in the club in a way that is consistent with the “Jr. Grads” objectives. The “Jr. Grads” is committed to developing a hockey club for the entire community that supports and develops all players fairly. The ultimate goal of this process is to provide players with the best possible experience in an environment where they can grow as hockey players and young people in a fair, safe, respectful and rewarding environment.
With the help of
Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) and their efforts, the Cumberland Jr. Grads were able to develop and implement a Coach and Player Selection Process that reflects these best practices and proven successes from other hockey and sports associations.
This corner of the web site is dedicated to providing a single source for all the Coach and Player Selection Process documents.
